Greetings, my name is Pili, and I have been practicing bodywork in the Anchorage area for the past 20 years. I recently completed my certification as an Advanced Myofascial Therapist. I am now working towards a level 2 certification in myofascial therapy. For a more detailed list of my education, please go to the "about Pili" page.
I was drawn to bodywork through managing my own pain, due to an extreme case of whiplash in my early teens, that later led to major jaw surgery. To try to find some comfort living in my body, I practiced yoga and received many sessions of Rolfing, which began my fascination with the human body and all it's mysteries. This led me to what I consider more of a path than an occupation, and I continue my journey along it, and welcome you to join me.
I continue to be inspired by the adaptability and healing abilities of the human body. I feel honored to work with people, as they negotiate the pains and challenges of their lives. I love to learn and continue my education, so that I may grow and serve you better. I also strive to be an example of living a balanced life.
Some of the variety of clients I currently work on include:
Teenagers, teachers, social workers, working professionals, small business owners, long distance runners, professional dancers, yoga teachers, health care professionals, parents and grandparents.
